Abstract: ［Abstract］Objective　To observe clinical efficacy and safety of Etofenamate gel vs. Diclofcnac Sodium in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. Methods　Sixty patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomized into trial group（30cases） and control group（30cases）. The trial group was given Etofenamate Gel with roast lamp. The controlled group was treated with Diclofenac Sodium , orally for treatment. Clinical efficacy，Lequesne index， joint tenderness pain and the incidence of adverse events were observed in 2 groups．Result　Compared with after treatment, the total effective rate（83.3% in trial group and 76.7% in control graup），joint tenderness pain and the incidence of adverse drug reaction，and lequesne index［（3.2±1.6）in trial group and （5.1±1.8）in control group］had statistically significant differences between 2 groups（P＜0.05）. Conclusion　Etofenamate gel with roast lamp has significant clinical efficacy and good safety in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis，and is worth promoting .
