Studies on Moisture-absorption-retention and Antioxidant Activity of Panax Notoginseng Polysaccharides in Vitro

Abstract:
  Objective  To investigate hygroscopic, moisturizing properties and antioxidant activities in vitro by extracting and separating Panax notoginseng polysaccharides from industrial medicinal residues extracted from Panax notoginseng total saponins.   Methods   The crude polysaccharide from Panax notoginseng (CPPN) was extracted by water extraction and alcohol precipitation with industrial Panax notoginseng residues andCPPN was separated by DEAE Sepharose Fast Flow. Compared with glycerol and sodium alginate, the hygroscopic properties of Panax notoginseng polysaccharide under the relative humidity (RH) of 43% and 81% and the moisturizing properties under dry silica gel environment were measured. The antioxidant activity of Panax notoginseng polysaccharide in vitro was investigated by DPPH radical, ABTS+ radical and hydroxyl radical scavenging test.   Results   CPPN was separated by DEAE Sepharose Fast Flow to obtain a neutral polysaccharide from Panax notoginseng (NPPN) and three acidic polysaccharides from Panax notoginseng (APPN), named as NPPN, APPNⅠ, APPNII, APPNⅢ, respectively. The rates were 27.68%, 11.89%, 15.41% and 21.04%, respectively. When the RH was 43%, the moisture absorption rate was glycerol>APPNⅢ>sodium alginate>CPPN>APPNⅡ>APPNⅠ>NPPN. When the RH was 81%, the moisture absorption rate was glycerol >APPNⅢ>sodium alginate>APPNⅡ>APPNⅠ>CPPN>NPPN. APPNⅢ had better hygroscopicity than sodium alginate. In dry silica gel environment, the moisturizing rate was APPNⅢ>sodium alginate>CPPN>APPNⅡ>glycerin>APPNⅠ>NPPN. The scavenging sequence for DPPH radical and ABTS radical was CPPN>APPNⅠ>APPNⅢ>APPNⅡ>NPPN. The scavenging sequence for hydroxyl radical was CPPN>APPNⅢ>APPNⅡ>APPNⅠ>NPPN.   Conclusion   CPPN and its isolated polysaccharides have certain moisture absorption, moisturizing properties and antioxidant activity in vitro. Among them, APPN Ⅲ has the strongest moisture absorption and moisturizing performance, and CPPN has the strongest antioxidant activity in vitro.
Studies on the Preparation Method of Influenza Vaccine Liposome and the Effect of Particle Size on Immunogenicity

Abstract:
  Objective  (1) To prepare the tetravalent influenza vaccine liposome lyophilized powder with the film dispersion method and freeze-thaw lyophilization method, and to screen the best preparation method by investigating its particle size, entrapment efficiency and immunogenicity. (2) To prepare the influenza vaccine liposomes with different particle sizes by using the best preparation method, and to screen the best particle size by comparing the encapsulation efficiency and immunogenicity.  Methods   Lowry method was used to determine liposome entrapment rate. At given days of mice abdominal immunization, the cellular immunogenicity was conducted by spleen lymphocyte proliferation assay with stimulation index (SI) as indexes. The hemagglutination inhibition test was used to evaluate the humoral immunogenicity after the mice abdominal immunization.   Results   Freeze-thaw and freeze-drying method was the best method to prepare influenza vaccine liposome freeze-dried powder. Four kinds of liposome freeze-dried powder with average particle size of 3.7 µm, 2.0 µm, 1.0 µm and 0.45 µm were prepared by the best method. In one immune cycle, each experimental group could significantly stimulate the proliferation of spleen lymphocytes and produce the cellular immunity. There was significant difference between 3.7 µm group and other groups(P < 0.05). The titer ratio of antibody after and before the immunization was always ≥4, and the 3.7 µm group was higher than the other groups, indicating that it could produce the strong humoral immunity.   Conclusion   The tetravalent influenza vaccine liposomes prepared by freeze-thaw freeze-dried method can produce the strong immunogenicity, and the liposomes with the particle size of 3.7µm have the best immuno-enhancement effect.
Luteolin Inhibits HASMCs Migration by Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress

Abstract:
  Objective  To investigate the regulatory effect and mechanism of luteolin on the migration of human aortic smooth muscle cells (HASMCs).  Methods  HASMCs were cultured in vitro and divided into the blank control group (without any treatment, BC), the negative control group (with the same amount of irrelevant reagent, NC), the luteolin group (25 μmol/L treatment, LUT) and the luteolin+4-PBA treatment group (with the same amout of luteolin added after 4-PBA pretreatment, 4-PBA). Cell scratch test was used to detect the HASMCs migration after 12hs. The expression level of BIP and CHOP about endoplasmic reticulum stress were detected by RT-qPCR and Western blot.   Results   (1) Compared to the BC and NC groups, the cell migration level in the LUT group was significantly reduced, and the expression levels of BIP and CHOP were significantly increased. (2) Compared with the LUT group, the cell migration level of the luteolin+4-PBA co-teatment group increased, while the expression levels of BIP and CHOP decreased.   Conclusion  Luteolin inhibits HASMCs migration by promoting the endoplasmic reticulum stress.
EGCG Improves Myocardial Fibrosis Induced by High Fat and High Sugar Diet in Obese Rats by Inhibiting TGF-β1/Smads Signaling Pathway

Abstract:
  Objective  To investigate the effects of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) on myocardial fibrosis induced by high fat and high sugar diet in obese rats and to explore whether EGCG can reduce the extent of myocardial fibrosis through TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway.   Methods  A obese rat model was formed by long-term high fat and high sugar diet. After 4 weeks of EGCG intragastric administration daily in obese rats, the body weight of every group rats was examined. The extent of myocardial fibrosis was detected by Masson staining. The contents of fasting blood glucose (FBG), triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), malondialdehyde (MDA) and glutathione (GSH) in serum were determined by biochemical methods. Western blotting was used to detect the expression levels of Collagen Ⅰ, Collagen Ⅲ, TGF-β1, Smad2/3, p-Smad2/3 and Smad7 in heart tissues of the rats in each group.   Results  The body weight of the model group rats was incremental than those in the control group and the body weight of EGCG treatment was lower. The extent of myocardial fibrosis was more severe in the model group to the control group, and decreased after EGCG treatment. The contents of FBG, TC, TG and MDA in model group were higher than those in the control group, but decreased after EGCG treatment. The activity of GSH in the model group was lower than that in the control group, but increased after EGCG treatment. Collagen Ⅰ, Collagen Ⅲ, TGF-β1, Smad2/3 and p-Smad2/3 were increased in the model group, but decreased after EGCG treatment. Smad7 protein expression in the model group was lower than that in the control group, but increased after EGCG treatment.   Conclusion  EGCG can improve the lipid metabolism disorder and reduce MF degree in obese rats, which can be related to TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway mediated by oxidative stress.
Long Non-coding RNA-p21 Regulates the MicroRNA-9 / Sirtuin-1 Signaling Pathway to Reverse Oxaliplatin Resistance in Colorectal Cancer Cells

Abstract:
  Objectives  To discuss the molecular mechanism of long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)-P21 regulating (miR-9) /Sirtuin-1(SIRT1) signaling pathway in reversing colorectal cancer (CRC) cell autophagy and drug resistance.   Methods  Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) was employed to assess the expression level of LncRNA-p21 in cell lines. Western blotting was performed to measure the expression of SIRT1, miR-9 and autophagy related proteins in CRC cell. Clone formation assay was used to detect the cell activity.   Results  (1) LncRNA-p21 was highly expressed in oxaliplatin - resistant CRC cells HCT116 and SW620. (2) The knockdown of LncRNA-p21was able to inhibit autophagy and improve the chemotherapy sensitivity of HCT116 cells to oxaliplatin. (3) After LncRNA-p21 was knocked down, the expression of miR-9 was up-regulated, while the overexpression of miR-9 could enhance the chemotherapy sensitivity of HCT116 cells to oxaliplatin. Meanwhile, the expression of SIRT1 was regulated by LncRNA-p21 and miR-9.   Conclusion  CRC resistance to chemotherapy drug oxaliplatin may be caused by autophagy induced by LncRNA-P21, which may be realized through the regulation of the miR-9 /SIRT1 signaling pathway by LncRNA-P21.
Population Genetic Analysis of 18 Autosomal STR Loci in Minjia Branch of Bai Nationality in Yunnan Province, Southwest China

Abstract:
      Objective     To investigate the genetic polymorphism of 18 autosomal short tandem repeats (STR)loci in 2323 healthy unrelated individuals of Minjia branch of Bai nationality in Yunnan, calculate the population genetic parameters, and establish the genetic data of Minjia branch of Bai nationality in Yunnan, so as to provide the scientific basis for the parental identification and individual identification of forensic material evidence.      Methods     A total of 2323 unrelated individuals from Minjia branch of Bai nationality population were collected. DNA TyperTM 19 kit was used for direct PCR compound amplification. AB 3130XL automatic genetic analyzer was used to separate the PCR compound amplification products by capillary electrophoresis. STR typing was performed with GeneMapper ID-x 1.5 software. Forensic parameters, such as allele frequency and matching probability, were calculated by Modified Powerstats software, and the hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (HWE) test was performed. The Fst and P values were calculated using Arlequin software. Nei’s genetic distance was calculated using Phylip software. Multi-dimensional scale (MDS) analysis was performed using SPSS software. The Neighbor-Joining (NJ) phylogenetic tree was constructed by Mega software.      Results     A total of 230 alleles and 1073 genotypes were observed at 18 STR loci. Except that D13S317 loci was not in accord with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P = 0.0008), the allele frequencies and genotype frequencies of other loci were consistent with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (P > 0.05/20 = 0.0025). The cumulative discrimination power (CDP) and cumulative probability of exclusion (CPE) of 18 STR loci were 0.999999999 and 0.99999994055, respectively. The results of Fst, Nei’s genetic distance and NJ phylogenetic tree indicated that the Minjia branch of Bai nationality was close to the Bai nationality in Nujiang and the Bai nationality in Dali, but far away from the Bulang nationality in Yunnan and Va nationality in Yunnan.      Conclusion     The 18 STR loci mentioned above show the high genetic polymorphism in the Minjia branch of Bai nationality and they can be used for the forensic identification and population genetics research.
The Genetic Characteristic Analysis of the VP1 Gene of Coxsackievirus A6 in Qujing Prefecture of Yunnan Province in 2020

Abstract:
    Objective    To analyze the genetic characteristics of the VP1 gene of coxsackievirus A6 (CV-A6) from hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) cases collected from Qujing prefecture in 2020.    Methods   (1) Virus RNA was directly abstracted from stool samples of HFMD cases and virus VP4/VP2 junction region sequence was firstly amplified and sequenced by MD91 and OL68-1 primer pairs, then the virus serotype was determined. The virus entire VP1 gene sequences were determined by relative primer pairs according to the references. (2) The reference sequences of CV-A6 virus entire VP1 gene were downloaded from the GenBank and the phylogenetic tree was constructed and the genetic characteristics and molecular epidemiology were analyzed.    Results   In 2020, a total of 49 strains of enteroviruses (EVs) were identified with a positive rate of 9.80% (49/500). Among 49 EVs strains, 48 were enterovirus species A (EV-A), accounting for 97.96% (48/49), 1 was enterovirus species B (EV-B), accounting for 2.04% (1/49). A total of 4 serotypes were identified from EV-A, among which, 3 were CV-A4, accounting for 6.12% (3/49); 36 were CV-A6, accounting for 73.47% (36/49); 5 were CV-A10, accounting for 10.20% (5/49) and 4 were CV-A16, accounting for 8.16% (4/49). Only one strain of EV-B viruses was identified (coxsackievirus B4, CV-B4), accounting for 2.04% (1/49). The phylogenetic characteristics of the entire VP1 gene sequences of 36 strains of CV-A6 identified in this study and 26 reference strains published by Yang Song and Mizuta K were analyzed by MEGA software 5.2. The results showed that all 36 Qujing strains belonged to D3a sub-genotype.    Conclusion   The outbreaks of HFMD in Qujing prefecture in 2020 are mainly caused by CV-A6, accounting for 73.47%. Phylogenetic analysis shows that, similar to the situation in Mainland of China during the past years, the sub-genotype D3a of CV-A6 is the predominant virus in this outbreak. Strengthening the laboratory and molecular epidemiological surveillance is the important work in Qujing prefecture and even in the whole Yunnan province in the future.
Factors Affecting the Quality of Life in Adolescent Scoliosis

Abstract:
  Objective   To analyze the differences and their correlations in the scores of pain, self-image, function and mental health of adolescent scoliosis (AS)between the demographic parameters and spinal deformity measurement parameters, and to understand the current quality of life of AS patients.   Methods   A total of 103 patients with scoliosis who were treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University and Yunnan (Sino-German) Orthopaedic Hospital from March 2021 to September 2021 were collected and the SRS-22 questionnaire was conducted. Also, the demographic data and spinal deformity measurement data of all the subjects were sorted and summarized. The differences and correlation between the scores of various dimensions of SRS-22 were analyzed by independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance and correlation analysis.   Results   There was a statistically significant difference between AS and the normal female adolescents in the self-image (P < 0.001); There were statistical differences in the self-image of the SRS-22 scale between the patients with thoracic and double major; There were statistical differences in the mental health of the SRS-22 between the patients with thoracic and thoracolumbar, and the patients with thoracic and double major; The age was negatively correlated with the pain (r = -0.328, P = 0.000); There were statistically differences between the single curve and three curve, double curve and three curve in the function of SRS-22 scale (P < 0.05). The apical vertebral rotation was negatively correlated with the self-image and mental health (r = -0.295, P = 0.003; r = -0.236, P = 0.017); The Cobb angle of main curve was negatively correlated with the self-image and mental health (r = -0.292, P = 0.003; r = -0.203, P = 0.039). Conclution Age may be an factor associated with the individual pain and the rotation of the apical vertebra and the Cobb angle of main curve may be the effecting factors of the self-image and mental health of AS. There are differences in the self-image and mental health of AS under the different apical vertebra positions. There are differences in the functional status of AS patients with different number of lateral bending curves.
Studies on the Related Factors of Non-suicidal Self-injury in Adolescent Patients with Depression

Abstract:
  Objective   To explore the influencing factors of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) in adolescent patients with major depressive disorder.   Methods  130 adolescent patients with the first-episode depression in the Psychiatry Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University were divided into two groups: NSSI group (n = 80) and non-NSSI group (n = 50). The Chinese version of Children’s Depression Inventory, Children’s Anxiety and Related Disorders Screening Scale, Chinese Adolescent Psychological Resilience Scale and Adolescent Life Events Scale were used to investigate and evaluate the psychological factors. The pressure pain threshold was measured by IITC electronic Von Frey pain measuring instrument. Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of NSSI in adolescents with depression, and receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was drawn to evaluate the predictive value of risk factors for NSSI in adolescents with depression.   Results  The total score of Psychological Resilience Scale in adolescents without NSSI was higher than that in the group with NSSI, and the total score of CDI and pressure pain threshold were lower than those in the group with NSSI (P < 0.05). Pressure pain threshold values and the total CDI score were independent risk factors for NSSI behavior in adolescents with depression. According to the pressure pain threshold and the total score of CDI, the AUC of non-suicidal self-injury behavior in adolescent patients with depression was 0.724 and 0.618, respectively. After the combined detection, the corresponding AUC was 0.767.   Conclusion  Skin pressure pain threshold and CDI total score are the independent risk factors for NSSI behavior in adolescent patients with depression.

Abstract:
  Objective   To describe and analyze the spectrum of diseases and changes of elderly patients over 60 years old in Yunnan Province.   Methods   Through the National Health Statistics Information Network Direct Reporting System, the home page of electronic medical records of discharged elderly patients from the public hospitals in Yunnan province from January 2017 to December 2019 was systematically sorted and analyzed according to the International Classification of Diseases 10 (ICD-10) system perform classification statistics.   Results   From 2017 to 2019, the average number of hospital discharges were 4375768, of which the average number of elderly people aged 60 and over were 1330437 per year, accounting for 30.40%. Diseases of circulatory system, respiratory system, digestive system, musculoskeletal system and connective tissue, and genitourinary system ranked among the top 5 diseases, accounting for 66.30% of all diseases. Cerebrovascular diseases, chronic lower respiratory diseases, gallstones and cholecystitis, intervertebral disc disease and renal failure ranked first among the above-mentioned systemic diseases respectively. Chronic lower respiratory diseases, ischemic heart disease, cerebral infarction, hypertension and malignant tumors were the main diseases of the elderly in hospital; Tuberculosis ranked first among infectious diseases.   Conclusion   Chronic non-communicable diseases have become the main cause of endangering the health of the elderly in Yunnan Province and this will pose a challenge to the weak health management system for the elderly in Yunnan.

Abstract:
  Objective  To investigate the efficacy of personalized transplantation of Endometrial Receptivity Test (ERT) in improving the clinical outcome of patients with repeated implantation failure, and to analyze the clinical factors affecting Endometrial Receptivity.   Methods  A retrospective cohort study was conducted on the clinical data of patients diagnosed with repeated transplantation failure in the Reproductive Medicine Department of the First People’s Hospital of Yunnan from December 2020 to November 2021. The patients were divided into two groups according to whether or not they had undergone endometrial receptivity testing and retransplanted embryos according to the test results. The clinical outcomes were compared between the two groups. The clinical factors affecting the endometrial receptivity were[1] analyzed.   Results  The clinical pregnancy rate and embryo implantation rate in the receiving group were significantly higher than those in the non-receiving group (P < 0.05). Multivariate regression analysis showed that polycystic ovary syndrome and the occurrence of follicular unruptured luteinization were the influencing factors of implantation window shift (P < 0.05).   Conclusion  For patients with repeated implantation failure, transplantation can improve the outcome of assisted pregnancy according to ERT test results; Polycystic ovary syndrome and luteinization of unruptured follicles are risk factors for the implantation window displacement in patients with repeated implantation failure.
Interrupted Vertical Non-Absorbable Sutures Combined with Nis Knots in the Treatment of Inferior Pole Patella Fractures

Abstract:
  Objective  To Explore the technical points and clinical efficacy of interrupted vertical non-absorbable sutures combined with nis knots in the treatment of inferior patellar pole fractures.   Methods  A total of 22 patients admitted to the Department of Bone and Trauma Surgery of the Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University from January 2016 to December 2020 with intermittent vertical non-absorbable sutures combined with nice knot treatment for inferior pole patella fractures were selected as the observation group, while 21 patients who were treated with a wire tension band with a knot needle at the same time were selected as the control group, and the technical points were elaborated and the clinical efficacy was comprehensively evaluated according to the index of each group.   Results  (1)The operating time, intraoperative bleeding and fracture healing time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P < 0.05). (2) Knee mobility(1, 3, and 6 months after the surgery) was greater in the observation group than that in the control group(P < 0.05); Lysholm score(1, 3, 6, and 12 months after the surgery) and KSS score(1, 3, and 6 months after thesurgery) were higher in the observation group than those in the control group(P < 0.05); (3) None of the cases in the observation group had anterior knee pain, while there were 12 cases in the control group; End-stage knee at follow-up Bostman score excellent rate(100%) was significantly higher in the observation group than that in the control group(95.23%).   Conclusion  Intermittent vertical non-absorbable sutures in combination with nis knots for the treatment of inferior pole patella fractures can avoid the use of metallic materials, have the advantages of less soft tissue irritation, simple and easy operation, short time-consuming, less bleeding, firm fixation, good postoperative functional recovery. Therefore, there is no need for the secondary operation to remove the long-term implant and have the excellent clinical application value.

Abstract:
  Objective  To observe the clinical distribution and drug-resistance of A.baumannii, so as to provide the reference for the rational use of antibiotics in clinic.   Methods  Data of 2453 A.baumannii isolated from the clinical samples in a hospital from January 2014 to December 2020 were analyzed retrospectively.   Results  A total of 2453 strains of A.baumannii were mainly isolated from the patients in the Intensive Care Unit (35.2%) and surgery department (22.1%). The ages of the patients with A.baumannii detected in the hospital were mainly over 60 years old (59.1%). The detection rate of A.baumannii isolated from the males (8.64%) was significantly higher than that from the females (5.39%) (P < 0.01). Meanwhile, the detection rate of multidrug-resistant A.baumannii isolated from the males (7.39%) was significantly higher than that from the females (3.58%) (P < 0.01). In addition to Levofloxacin, the resistance rates to Piperacillin, Imipenem, Meropenem, Piperacillin/Tazobactam and Tetracycline were increasing year by year. The isolation rate of multidrug resistant A.baumannii was also increased in the observation period. Furthermore, the drug resistance rate of the imipenem-resistant A.baumannii to 12 kinds of antibacterial drugs, such as Piperacillin, was significantly higher than that of the imipenem-sensitive strains.   Conclusion  A.baumannii isolated are mainly from the intensive care unit and surgery department. The susceptibility of the male patients to A.baumannii is higher than that of the females. The drug resistance rate of A.baumannii and the isolation rate of multidrug resistant A.baumannii are on the rise and the detection rate of multidrug-resistant A.baumannii is increasing year by year. It is necessary to strengthen the monitoring of A.baumannii and use antimicrobial agents rationally.
Effect of Hematopoietic Function Recovery and MRD Status after Induction Chemotherapy on the Prognosis of Patients with Newly Diagnosed Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Abstract:
  Objective  To investigate the recovery of hematopoietic function after the induction chemotherapy and the effect of MRD status on the prognosis of AML by analyzing retrospectively the clinical data of 100 newly diagnosed AML patients.  Methods  The clinical data of 100 patients with acute myeloid leukemia initially diagnosed in the Department of Hematology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2017 to March 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The differences of clinical characteristics between complete recovery group (CR) and incomplete recovery group (CRi or CRp) and the differences of OS and EFS between the two groups were compared and analyzed. Cox regression was used to analyze the risk factors affecting the prognosis. The difference of OS and EFS between the platelet complete recovery group (PLT ≥ 300×109 / L) and the incomplete recovery group (PLT < 300×109 / L) on the 28th day after the induction treatment was compared and analyzed. The differences of various parameters were evaluated by independent sample t-test, Pearson chi-square test or Mann-Whitney test. Kaplan-Meier method and Cox regression were used for survival analysis.  Results  The median follow-up time was 1.6 (0.9, 2.6) a. The comparison between CR group and CRp or CRi group showed that there were significant differences in MRD status, prognostic genes (NPM1, FLT3-ITD, C-KIT, CEBPA) and prognosis between the two groups (P < 0.05); AML patients with incomplete recovery of peripheral blood cell count during the morphological remission predicted worse outcomes. The overall survival time (OS) in the incomplete recovery group (CRi or CRp) was significantly shorter than that in the complete recovery group (CR) (3.2 a VS 1.8 a, P = 0.016); And the progression free survival (EFS) was also significantly shortened (less than 1.2 a, P = 0.041). On the 28th day of the induction treatment, the overall survival (OS) of incomplete platelet recovery group (PLT < 300×109 / L) was significantly shorter than that of complete platelet recovery group (PLT ≥ 300 ×109 / L) (5.2 a vs 2.5 a, P = 0.001); EFS was also shortened (3.2 a VS 2.7 a, P = 0.237). Cox regression analysis showed that platelet recovery on day 28 and MRD status in morphological remission were independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of AML patients.  Conclusion  For newly diagnosed AML patients, hematopoietic regeneration after the induction chemotherapy, especially the recovery of platelets, is an important predictor of the prognosis of AML patients. Although hematopoietic recovery and MRD status are related, both are independent prognostic factors for recurrence, OS and EFS in patients with AML.

Abstract:
  Objective  To summarize the imaging characteristics of odontoma based on detailed discussion of the value of CBCT in the diagnosis and treatment of odontoma, thereby improving the clinical understanding of odontoma.   Methods  A retrospective study was undertaken on the imaging data of 19 outpatients who were diagnosed as odontoma by CBCT (KavoiCAT 17-19, Germany) in the Department of Stomatology, Yan’an Hospitalof Kunming City between May 2015 and February 2022, from which the age of the patient, thespatial location, the tooth positionand the type of the odontoma were analyzed.   Results  The age of the 19 patients with odontoma ranged from 8 to 23, including 6 males and 13 females. With respect to the location of odontoma, there were 10 cases in the upper jawand 9 cases in the lower jaw. Alternatively, these consisted of 16 cases in the anterior area, 2 case in the premolar area, and 1 case in the molar area. As to the tooth position of odontoma, there were 4 cases in the central incisor position of maxillary, 3 cases in the lateral incisor position of maxillary, 3 cases in the canine tooth position of maxillary, 1 case in the lateral incisor position of mandibule, 2 cases in the canine tooth positionof mandibule, 1 case in the first premolar tooth position of mandibule, and 5 cases between two adjacent tooth positions. Divided by the occurrence type, there were 14 cases of compound type and 5 cases of complex type (2 case of cystic odontoma), of which 12 cases were accompanied byimpacted teeth.   Conclusions  Odontoma are mostly found in adolescents, with commoner occurrence in females. Most of the patientswere found by radiographic examination when clinical symptoms such as irregular dentition, delayed teeth eruption, and pain of the affected area appeared. The rest patients were accidentally discovered during routine radiographic examination. Odontomas were mostly located in the anterior tooth area, usually the canines and incisors and often accompanied by impacted canines and incisors. Compound odontoma are commoner, while cystic odontoma are relatively rare.The wide application of CBCT would be important for comprehensive understanding of the incidence, clinical manifestations and differential diagnosis of odontoma.
Correlation between CD3+ HLA-DR Expression and Vita Level in Severe Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia

Abstract:
  Objective   To investigate the expression of CD3 + HLA-DR in peripheral blood lymphocytes and the level of serum VitA in severe Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.   Methods   24 children who met the diagnostic criteria of severe Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia admitted to the pediatric ward of our hospital from January 2017 to December 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. 47 cases of common Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia hospitalized in the same period were randomly selected as the general group; 23 patients with simple upper respiratory tract infection and short stature were the control group; Fasting venous blood was collected in the morning of the next day after the admission, including non anticoagulant 1ml and anticoagulant 3ml; The antibody titer of Mycoplasma pneumoniae was determined by micro blood passive agglutination method, CD19, CD4, CD8, CD3 + HLA-DR was determined by American Berman flow cytometry and reagent, and serum VA was detected by high performance liquid chromatography; Statistical analysis: one-way ANOVA was used, and LSD-t test was used for pairwise comparison; Pearson analysis was used for correlation analysis; The risk factors were analyzed by logistic analysis.   Results   1. There were 24 cases of severe Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia, 14 males and 10 females, aged (4.97 ± 1.79) years; There were 47 cases of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia, 30 males and 17 females, with an average age of (4.87 ± 1.79) years; In the same period, there were 23 hospitalized children with simple upper respiratory tract infection and short stature, including 12 males and 11 females, with an average age of (4.77 ± 2.11) years. There was no significant difference in age and gender among the three groups (P > 0.05); 2. Comparison of CD19, CD4, CD8, CD3 + HLA-DR and vita values among the three groups: the expression of CD4, CD3 + HLA-DR and serum Vita levels in lymphocytes of the severe group were significantly lower (34.2 ± 4.54, 11.83 ± 2.57, 0.23 ± 0.10), CD19 (18.66 ± 2.56) increased significantly, which was significantly higher than that in the general group [38.1 ± 4.04, 17.11 ± 2.71, 0.33 ± 0.14] and the control group (39.35 ± 3.86, 18.78 ± 1.86, 0.40 ± 0.14) (P < 0.05); Vita was positively correlated with CD4, CD3 + HLA-DR (r = 0.371, 0.688, P < 0.05). The results of logistic regression analysis showed that the decrease of serum Vita level and CD3 + HLA-DR expression were independent risk factors of SMMP (or = 4.42, 2.38, P < 0.05).   Conclusion  lymphocyte activation was involved in the occurrence and development of MPP. Excessive immune response would not only induce excessive immune response, but also lead to autoimmune injury (immune paralysis). It is speculated that VitA is also involved in regulating lymphocyte activation.

Abstract:
  Objective  To analyze the expression of long non-coding RNA (LINC00982) and microrNA (hsa-miR-1246) in cervical cancer tissues, so as to provide a new biomarker for the diagnosis of cervical cancer and a potential and effective therapeutic target for its treatment.   Methods  The normal cervical tissue samples (as the control group) were collected from 21 patients undergoing the total hysterectomy for benign lesions such as uterine fibroids and the cervical cancer tissue samples (as the experimental group) were collected from 39 patients diagnosed as cervical cancer by pathology. All the patients above were admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University from January 2021 to October 2021. The expressions of LINC00982 and miR-1246 were detected and compared between these two groups by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR (RT-QPCR).   Results   (1) Compared with the normal human cervical tissues, the expression of LINC00982-1/2 was down-regulated in cervical cancer tissues (P < 0.05), while the expression of hsa-miR-1246 was up-regulated (P < 0.05); (2)The expression levels of LINC00982-1/2 and miR-1246 in highly differentiated cervical cancer tissues were lower than those in medium and low differentiated cervical cancer tissues (P < 0.05); (3) The expression levels of LINC00982-1/2 and hsa-miR-1246 in stage Ⅲ/Ⅳ of the cervical carcinoma were higher than those in stage Ⅰ/Ⅱ (P < 0.05). (4) The expression level of LINC00982-1 in adenocarcinoma tissues was lower than that in squamous cell carcinoma (P < 0.05), but there was no significant difference between adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma (P > 0.05), while the expression of hsa-mir-1246 was higher than that in squamous cell carcinoma (P < 0.05); (5) The expression of LINC00982-1/2 decreased with the increase of SCCA (P < 0.05), while the expression of hsa-miR-1246 increased with the increase of SCCA; (6) The expression levels of LINC00982-1/2 and hsa-miR-1246 in tissues with the tumor diameter > 4 cm were higher than those with tumor diameter ≤4 cm.   Conclusion  LINC00982 is low expressed in cervical cancer tissues while hsa-miR-1246 is highly expressed in cervical cancer tissues. Furthermore, the expressions of LINC00982-1/2 and hsa-miR-1246 in cervical cancer tissues are closely related to the degree of tissue differentiation, pathological stage, pathological type, SCCA level and tumor diameter.
Observations on Hemodynamics and Stress Response of the Different Anesthesia Methods in Stereotactic Intracranial Hematoma Removal for Hypertensive Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Abstract:
  Objective  To explore the effect of different anesthesia methods on the hemodynamics and stress response during the stereotactic intracranial hematoma removal of the hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.   Methods  80 patients who underwent the stereotactic intracranial hematoma removal in with the hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage Handan Central Hospital and the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from April 2020 to December 2021 were selected into the study. They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in the observation group were given the scalp nerve block anesthesia before the stereotactic intracranial hematoma removal, and the patients in the control group were given the local infiltration anesthesia before the stereotactic intracranial hematoma removal. The mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR), cortisol (COR), norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine (E) were compared between the two groups before the anesthesia (T0), scalp cutting (T1), drilling (T2) and suture (T3). The pain levels of the two groups of patients were compared at 1 h, 6 h, and 12 h after the surgery, and the Glasgow Coma Score (GCS) score and neurological impairment score (CCS) scores of the two groups before and after the operation were compared.   Results  The MAP and HR of the control group at T1, T2, and T3 were significantly higher than those at T0 (P < 0.05), and the MAP and HR of the observation group at T1, T2, and T3 were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Cor, NE and E of the observation group at T1, T2, and T3 were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). In the control group, Cor, NE and E at T1, T2 and T3 were significantly higher than those at T0 (P < 0.05). The numerical pain rating scale (NRS) scores of the observation group at 1 h, 6 h, and 12 h after the surgery were significantly lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The GCS scores of the two groups were significantly higher at 3 days after the surgery, and the CCS scores were significantly lower than those before the surgery (P < 0.05).   Conclusion  The scalp nerve block anesthesia in the stereotactic removal of intracranial hematoma in patients with the hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage has more stable hemodynamics and less stress response.

  Objective   To study the expression of CRP, IL-6 and TNF-a in the serum of patients with the suspected adolescence polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).  Methods  80 patients with the suspected adolescence polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)were selected as the object of study (suspected adolescence PCOS group), and 60 patients with adolescence PCOS were chosen as the PCOS group and60 normal adolescence women selected as the control group. The 80 subjects were divided into two subgroups: OA+PCOM group (40 cases) and OA+HA group (40 cases). The levels of FSH, LH, T, E2, PRL, CRP, IL-6, TNF-a were detected. Results Serum levels of CRP、IL-6 in suspected adolescence PCOS group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Serum levels of CRP, TNF-a and IL-6 in OA+HA group were significantly higher than those in OA+PCOM group (P < 0.05).  Conclusion  The high levels of IL-6 and CRP in patients with the suspected adolescence PCOS may help to identify the early puberty and provide the evidence for the early intervention of adolescence PCOS.
Effect of Comprehensive Treatment for Aggressive Retinopathy of Prematurity

Abstract:
  Objective  To observe the effect of treatment for aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity (A-ROP).   Methods  Retrospective case studies were made and 55 premature infants (110 eyes) who were diagnosed as A-ROP were selected from Kunming Children’s Hospital from July 2015 to May 2020, including 35 females and 20 males. The gestational age ranged from 24 to 37 (29.47±2.30) weeks and the birth weight ranged from 730 to 2250 (1322.09±322.75) g.All children received intravitreous injection of ranibizumb 10 mg/ml 0.03 ml (IVR) within 48 hours after the diagnosis. After IVR, the systemic and ocular adverse effects were observed during the follow-up and checked the retina after 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year for six times. Retinal Laser photocoagulation (LP) therapy was given to those recurrent eyes or not responding to ranibizumb. The time from IVR to LP were 26~48 (36.58±5.59) days. The effectiveness of IVP and the LP after IVR were divided into two groups to compare the gestational age, maternal age, length of NICU hospital stay, birth weight and the duration of oxygen inhalation, and compared the differences by t-test.   Results  47.3% of eyes (52 eyes of 110 ) after IVR were effective, the lesions completely subsided, the additional lesions disappeared, and there was no neovascularization. The retinal vessels developed to zone 3. 57 eyes (51.8%) were treated with supplementary retinal LP. After IVR combined with LP, 1 eye (0.9%) had the recurrence, cataract combined with partial retinal detachment, vitrectomy and lensectomy were performed, and the retina was completely restored after the surgery. No ocular or systemic adverse reactions occurred in all pantients during the follow-up.  Conclusion  The comprehensive treatment of IVR and LP in A-ROP is effective.
Diagnostic Value of Gated Myocardial Perfusion Imaging Combined with NT-proBNP in Chronic Heart Failure

  Objectives   To investigate the clinical value of gated myocardial perfusion imaging (GMPI), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (Hs-CRP) and N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in the differential diagnosis of chronic heart failure.   Methods   Eighty one patients ultimately diagnosed with chronic heart failure by GMPI examination at Yanan Hospital Affiliated to Kunming Medical University between January 2020 and December 2021 were included as the heart failure group, sixty five subjects with a final diagnosis of non heart failure by GMPI examination during the same period were selected as the non heart failure group. After that, GMPI indicators: PHB, PSD, LVEF, LVEDV, LVESV, PFR and laboratory indicators: Hs-CRP, NT-proBNP were collected for all enrolled subjects so as to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of each parameter of GMPI, Hs-CRP and NT-proBNP indicators for chronic heart failure.   Results   All parameters of GMPI and AUC of NTpro-BNP in the diagnosis of chronic heart failure were > 0.800, P < 0.001; the AUC of Hs-CRP in the diagnosis of heart failure was 0.640, P < 0.05; the AUC of the combined scheme of LVEDV + LVESV + NTpro-BNP was 0.937, P < 0.001. Comparing AUC of different parameters: there was no significant difference between GMPI and NTpro-BNP ( P > 0.05), all parameters of GMPI and AUC of NTpro-BNP were higher than Hs-CRP ( P < 0.05), the AUC of the combined scheme of LVEDV + LVESV + NTpro-BNP was higher than that of GMPI, NTpro-BNP and Hs-CRP ( P < 0.05).   Conclusion   The value of Hs-CRP alone in the differential diagnosis of chronic heart failure is limited; GMPI parameters are equivalent to the accuracy of traditional heart failure index NTpro-BNP in the diagnosis of heart failure and have the high diagnostic efficacy in the differentiation of the heart failure; GMPI combined with NTpro-BNP can achieve the higher diagnostic accuracy, which is worthy of further clinical application.
Measurement of Articular Cartilage Thickness of Talus in Normal Adults by MRI

  Objective  To measure the thickness of cartilage on the surface of the talus of normal adults by MRI and to obtain the parameters of the thickness of the cartilage of the talus of normal adults and the relationship with gender, age, weight and height.  Methods  100 adults, 50 males and 50 females, aged 18 ~ 60, without arthritis and trauma history of ankle joint in the outpatient department were selected for MRI examination.The thickness of articular cartilage of anterior, middle and posterior talus was measured by MRI. The measurement results were measured by SPSS 25. 0 statistical software package for statistical analysis.  Results  The cartilage thicknesses of the anterior, middle, and posterior talus articular surface in men were (1.00±0.18) mm, (1.40±0.21) mm, and (0.87±0.18) mm respectively; the thicknesses of cartilage in the anterior, middle, and posterior talar articular surfaces of women were (0.96±0.18) mm, 0.19) mm, (1.29 ± 0.20) mm, (0.86 ± 0.15) mm respectively; male and female anterior and posterior articular cartilage thicknesses of the talus were not statistically different (P > 0.05), there was significant difference in the thickness of articular cartilage in talus (P < 0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference in age between men and women (P > 0.05).  Conclusion   The average cartilage thickness of the articular surface of the talus in men is greater than that in women and there is no difference in the thickness of cartilage on the front and rear articular surfaces; There is no correlation between the height, weight, and age of men’s and women’s articular cartilage thickness. The amount of cartilage provides the basis, and the corresponding cartilage thickness is added to the design of the talar anatomical prosthesis.
Predictive Value of RDW and Blood Lipid on Gastroesophageal Variceal Bleeding in Patients with Liver Cirrhosis

Abstract:
  Objective  To explore the correlation between the red blood cell distribution width (RDW) / lipids and gastroesophageal variceal bleeding (GEVB) in patients with liver cirrhosis.   Methods  A total of 60 GEVB patients admitted to the Comprehensive Hepatology Department of the Third People’s Hospital of Kunming from January, 2021 to May, 2021 were assigned to the bleeding group, meanwhile, another 60 liver cirrhosis patients without GEVB were randomly selected as the non-bleeding group. The basic data, RDW, PLT, biochemical indexes of liver function and blood lipid related indexes of the two groups were compared, and then the effects of RDW and blood lipid on GEVB were explored through multivariate binary logistic regression analysis. Finally, ROC curves were used to assess the diagnostic effectiveness.   Results  Compared with the non-bleeding group, RDW in the bleeding group increased significantly, while TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, ApoA1 and ApoE decreased significantly (all P < 0.05). Binary logistic regression analysis showed that RDW was an independent risk factor (OR = 1.367, 95%CI: 1.141~1.639) while TC was the protective factor (OR = 0.437, 95%CI: 0.262~0.728) for GEVB in patients with liver cirrhosis (all P < 0.05). For RDW, the area under curve (AUC) of ROC was 0.803 (P < 0.05), optimum threshold was 15.25%, sensitivity and specificity were 86.7% and 63.3%, respectively; and for TC, AUC of ROC was 0.789 (P < 0.05), optimum threshold was 2.765 mmol/L and the sensitivity and specificity were 78.3% and 75.0%, respectively.   Conclusion  RDW and TC have the high value in the diagnosis of GEVB in patients with liver cirrhosis, to which intensive attention should be paid clinically.

  Objective   To explore the independent risk factors of the recurrence of pleural effusion in patients with liver cirrhosis and complicated with pleural effusion and to establish a predictive model.   Methods   190 cases of liver cirrhosis complicated with massive pleural effusion and admitted to the department of infectious diseases from April 2014 to December 2019 were inquired. The recurrence of pleural effusion after the treatment was followed up, and the relevant clinical data and laboratory indexes were collected. The patients were divided into non pleural effusion recurrence group (n = 161) and pleural effusion recurrence group (n = 29) and ROC curve was used to verify the prediction efficiency of the prediction model.   Results   Among the 190 patients, 29 (15%) recurred after the disappearance of pleural effusion after the treatment. The factors such as baseline age, gender, blood routine and liver function of 190 patients were analyzed by logistic regression. Platelet (or = 1.018), blood creatinine (or = 0.978), portal vein velocity (or = 0.660) and catheterization time (or = 1.801) were independent risk factors for the recurrence of pleural effusion in patients with liver cirrhosis. The AUC of the four risk factors and the model were 0.673, 0.619, 0.831, 0.969 and 0.977 respectively. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the model were 89.7%, 92.9% and 91.8% respectively.   Conclusion   The prediction model of pleural effusion recurrence in patients with liver cirrhosis and combined with pleural effusion could better predict the risk of pleural effusion recurrence.Early intervention of influencing factors could reduce the recurrence of pleural effusion in patients with liver cirrhosis, and provide the reference for medical staff to take the preventive management measures in time.

Abstract:
Heroin, a highly addictive drug that seriously harms the human health, can be ingested in multiple ways. Severe damages are commonly observed in the respiratory system. As an exogenous opioid, heroin can cause the respiratory depression by inhibiting the respiratory center. In fact, heroin affects the respiratory system in many other ways. It not only causes nasopharyngeal ulcers or emphysema by directly damaging the airways and lung tissues, but also induces asthma or eosinophilic pneumonia by affecting the body’s immunity. In addition, pulmonary toxicity of heroin can cause noncardiogenic pulmonary edema and pneumothorax when drugs are injected into the jugular vein. Because of the psychosocial environmental factors, heroin users are also at a high risk for pulmonary infectious diseases, such as pneumonia and tuberculosis. This article will provide a better understanding of the effects of heroin on the respiratory system by reviewing the current literature.

Abstract:

Thyroid cancer is the most common malignant tumor in endocrine system. Its morbidity is increasing worldwide year by year. The exact cause of thyroid cancer is still unclear. Radiation exposure, metabolic syndrome (such as obesity, hypertention, hyperlipidemia and diabetes), unhealthy life style, and environmental pollution are involved in the pathogenesis and development of thyroid cancer. Avoiding radiation exposure, controlling blood pressure, blood fat, blood glucose and body weight, improving life habits can be valid measures to prevent thyroid tumor. This paper is to summarize the risk factors and prevention measures of thyroid cancer.

Abstract:
  Objective   To explore the application effect of “modular teaching method” in the nursing teaching of the Nephrology Department, and to provide the reference for the clinical teaching.   Methods  192 undergraduate nursing students practicing in the Department of Nephrology in our hospital from July 2019 to July 2021 were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 96 cases in each group. In the control group, the traditional teaching methods was used, while in the experimental group, the modular teaching method on the basis of the traditional teaching method was applied. The scores of theory, operation and clinical comprehensive ability examination were compared between the two groups, and the teaching satisfaction was evaluated by anonymous survey.   Results  There was no significant difference in the scores of theory, operation and clinical comprehensive ability entrance examination between the two groups (P > 0.05); Comparing between the two groups, the graduation scores of the two groups were higher than the enrollment scores, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05); The results of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The satisfaction of 98.96% (95 / 96) in the experimental group was significantly higher than 88.54% (85 / 96) in the control group (P < 0.05).   Conclusion  The application of “modular teaching method” in the nursing teaching of the nephrology department can improve the examination results of nursing students' comprehensive ability of theory, operation and clinic, and improve their satisfaction with the teaching quality.

Correlation between the Acceptance of Illness and Quality of Life in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Abstract:
  Objective  To investigate the status of disease acceptance and the quality of life in patients with the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and to explore the relationship between them.   Methods  A total of 345 patients with IBD attending the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center in Yunnan Province were selected as the study population by convenience sampling method. Data were collected using the General Information Questionnaire, the Chinese version of the Acceptance of Illness Scale (AIS), and the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Quality of Life Scale (IBDQ).   Results  The total scores of the disease acceptance and the quality of life of IBD patients were (21.95±5.58) and (166.41±30.75), respectively, which were positively correlated (r = 0.606, P<0.01).   Conclusion  The higher the acceptance of IBD patients, the higher the quality of life. Therefore, nursing workers should guide IBD patients to correctly understand the disease, encourage them to accept the disease, so as to improve their quality of life.
Construction and Application of the Health Literacy Assessment Scale for Day Surgery Patients and Its Influence on Early Postoperative Recovery Quality

Abstract:
  Objective   To investigate the health literacy level of day surgery patients by developing and constructing a health literacy assessment tool, and to analyze the impact of health literacy level of day surgery patients on early postoperative rehabilitation.   Methods   Nutbeam’ s health literacy theory was used as the research framework and the initial item pool was constructed on the basis of literature review and referring to the existing evaluation scales. Through the 2 rounds of Delphi expert letter consultation, the initial scale was formed. Twenty patients with day surgery were randomly selected for a small sample pre-experiment, and the scale items were further revised to form the clinical test version of the scale. From April to September 2021, 264 patients were selected from the day operating rooms of 5 top hospitals in Kunming to investigate the health literacy and early postoperative rehabilitation quality and analyze the status and influencing factors of the two variables.   Results   The final version of "health literacy assessment tool of day surgery patients" developed in this study contained 3 dimensions and 24 items. The Cronbach’ s α coefficient, half-fold reliability and content validity of the total scale were 0.944, 0.902 and 0.920 respectively. The exploratory factor analysis showed that the cumulative variance contribution rate was 66.37%, indicating that the scale has the excellent structure validity. Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that age, functional health literacy, interactive health literacy and critical health factors could explain 60.4% variation (adjusted R2 = 0.583) in postoperative recovery quality of day surgery patients, and were important influencing factors in postoperative recovery quality of day surgery patients.   Conclusion   The health literacy scale for day surgery patients developed in this study has the good reliability and validity and is suitable for the evaluation of related population. At the same time, the level of health literacy of day surgery patients is an important factor influencing the quality of early postoperative recovery.
