Abstract

Abstract

Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of discharge readiness in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and to provide scientific basis for improving discharge readiness services for patients with rheumatoid arthritis and developing targeted intervention measures. Methods A total of 245 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were investigated by general data questionnaire, Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale, Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale, Social Support Rating Scale and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire. Results The total score of discharge readiness of rheumatoid arthritis patients was （93.31±14.11） and the average score was （7.78±1.18） , which were in the middle level. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that guiding skills and effect, actual acquisition content, submission coping style, convenience of taking medicine after discharge, type of complications, current residence, objective support and pain were the main influencing factors for the discharge readiness of patients with rheumatoid arthritis （P < 0.05） . Conclusions The discharge readiness of rheumatoid arthritis patients is at a moderate level and is affected by a variety of factors. Nurses should pay attention to the influence of various factors on patients with rheumatoid arthritis and carry out targeted intervention according to the specific situation to improve the clinical outcome of patients with rheumatoid arthritis after discharge.
