Chemical Constituents from the Flowers of Dendrobium thyrsiflorum

  • [Abstract]Objective To study the chemical constituents from the flowers of Dendrobium thyrsiflorum and find its bioactive compounds. Methods The compounds were extracted by 95% alcohol and isolated by column chromatography on silica gel and Sephadex LH-20. Their structures were identified by spectroscopic analysis(1H NMR,13CNMR and EIMS).Results Seven compouds were obtained and identified as β-sitosterol(1),stigmasterol(2),6,7-dimethoxy coumarin(3),6-methoxy -7- hydroxy coumarin(4),dibutyl phthalate(5),naringenin(6),daucosterol(7).Conclusion All compounds were isolated from the flowers for the first time.
