Abstract

［Abstract］Objective　To evaluate the clinical value of T lymphocyte subsets analysis in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid （BALF） and peripheral blood （PB） in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods Forty-seven patients with pulmonary tuberculosis （observation group） and 21 normal persons （control group） were enrolled in this study. T lymphocyte subsets in BALF and PB of patients were detected by flow cytometry （FCM）， and the differences were compared. Results The CD4 and CD4/CD8 ratios in BALF and PB of observation group were significantly lower than control group （P＜0.05）， and CD8 in observation group was significantly higher in BALF than in PB （P＜0.05）. After 2 months' treatments， the CD4 and CD4/CD8 ratios in BALF and PB of observation group were significantly increase，and the CD8 in BALF was reduced （P＜0.05）. T lymphocyte subsets in BALF showed significantly higher clinical value in diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis than that in PB （P＜0.05）， after ROC curve analysis. Conclusion　Analysis of T lymphocyte subsets in BALF and PB is helpful for clinic diagnosis and observation of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
