Prevention and Treatment of Intraoperative Hypotension with Combined Spinal-epidural Anesthesia for Cesarean Section

［Abstract］Objective The study was aimed to investigate the prevention and treatment of intraoperative hypotension with combined spinal-epidural anesthesia for cesarean section. Methods Eighty-two patients were randomly selected who underwent cesarean section under combined spinal and epidural anesthesia from September 2012 to September 2013 in our hospital. Patients were divided into research and control groups. The general preparation was given to patients in the control group， and a standard and systematic of preoperative and intraoperative intervention were implemented for patients in the research group. Their clinical data were analyzed retrospectively. Results The percentage of intraoperative hypotension happened in the research group was 12.20%，which was significantly lower than that in the control group（21.95%），with a statistical significant difference（P < 0.05）. The patient's satisfaction was 97.56% in the research group，which was superior to 87.80% in the control group（P < 0.05）. Conclusion The necessary preoperative and intraoperative intervention could effectively reduce the occurrence of hypotension during combined spinal-epidural anesthesia for cesarean section， relieve the sufferings of the patient，and effectively promote the recovery after surgery. It is worthy to be widely applied.
