Abstract

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the effect of Kinesio Taping on pain in treatment of acute fibrositis Methods 56 patients with acute fibrositis were randomly divided into Kinesio Taping treatment group (n=28) and rehabilitation therapy control group (n=28) . We used visual analogue scale (VAS) and global rating of change scales (GRCS) to evaluate effect follow treatment for 3 days and 6 days. The effect of treatment groups respectively compared using χ2test. Results After 3 days and 6 days, VAS scores of patients in treatment group had greater improvement than those in control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) . The GCRS score demonstrated that there are 63.85% patients had morn then 3 points after 3 days KT treatment. And96.5%patient score had more than 3 points after 6 days KT treatment, of which there are 67.85% subjects score above 5 points. And these results had statistically significant (P <0.05) . Conclusion Kinesio Taping in treatment of acute fibrositis has a good therapeutic effect, and is worthy of promotion.
