Abstract

Abstract

Objective To analze the correlation of dust mite allergen between intradermal test and serum specific IgE test in allergic rhinitis.Methods We selected 20 patients with allergic rhinitis, and used intradermal test and serum specific SIgE test to test dust mite allergen.The intradermal test results were divided into:extremely strong positive group, strong positive group, middle positive group, positive group and negative group.Excel was used to make statistical analysis.Results Dust mites, house dust mites allergen intradermal test, respectively, had a significant correlation with serum SIgE test;intradermal test (the mean of house dust mites and dust mite) also had a significant correlation with serum SIgE test.The correlation index r=0.8532 (P <0.01, n=20) .Conclusions Mites allergen intradermal test has a significant correlation with serum SIgE test.If permitted, we can first do intradermal test as a screening, and then use SIgE test as a further verification;for high-sensitive patients or other patients who do not accept intradermal test, we can directly use serum SIgE test.
