Abstract

Abstract

Objective To investigate the concentration change of maternal and umbilical serum adiponectin from women suffering from gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),and illustrate the role of adiponectin in pathogenesis of GDM.Methods GDM was diagnosed using 50 g glucose screening test followed by 75 g oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT).16 GDM cases(group A),18 GIGT cases(group B)and 35 cases of normal pregnant women with normal glucose tolerance delivered in the same period(group C)were included in this study.The con...
