Abstract

Abstract

Objective To assess left ventricular systolic function in patients with metabolic syndrome by two-dimensional strain echocardiography.Methods 24 patients with MS and non-LVH(left ventricular hypertrophy,MS-NLVH group),26 patients with MS and LVH(MS-LVH group)and 28 healthy subjects(control group)were included.The two-dimensional loop-cinec was obtained in apical 4-chamber view,apical 2-chamber view and long axis of left ventricle(LV)view.Eighteen segments of LV longitudinal peak systolic strain and global p...
