Abstract

Objective To investigate the influence of anterior preperitoneal space on chronic pain after herniorrhaphy.Methods Retrospective study was used to analyze the experience of tension-free repair in 368 patients in Kunming Yan'an Hospital from December 2007 to December 2009.175 patients received PHS procedure and 193 patients received Rutkow procedure.They are followed-up to know whether they have postoperative chronic pain.Result The incidence of chronic pain after herniorrhaphy was 3.4%(6/175)and 9.3%(18/193...
