Comparison of the Effect of Chinese and Western Medicine and Western medicine on Senile Osteoporosis

    Abstract
  • ［Abstract］Objective To compare the effect of Chinese and Western medicine and Western medicine on senile osteoporosis. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with senile osteoporosis in hospital were selected，patients were divided into control group（60 cases） and observation group（60 cases），control group patients were given treatment of western medicine，observation group patients were given treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine，the effect of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group（93.4%） was significantly higher than that of control group（80.0%），P ＜0.05，the VAS pain scores（0.67±0.24） in the observation group was significantly lower than that in control group（1.82±0.84），P ＜0.05. Patients' BMD（0.67±0.11）g/cm2 in the observation group was significantly higher than control group（0.61±0.10） g/cm2，P＜0.05. Common adverse reactions were fever，rash，chest tightness. Conclusion In the treatment of senile osteoporosis，the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment can improve the treatment effect，has the promotion value.
