The mRNA Expression of SOX4， BRMS-1 in Breast Cancer and Their Relationship

    Abstract
  • ［Abstract］Objective　To study the expression characteristics of SOX4， BRMS-1， CYTB and P53 in breast cancer. Method We selected 35 patients with breast cancer and collected their cancer tissue and adjacent normal tissue，used TRIzol to extract total RNA and real-time quantitative PCR to detect relative gene expression levels. Results　The relative expression levels of SOX4 and BRMS-1 in cancer tissue were significantly higher than in adjacent normal tissue（P＜0.05）. The relative expression levels of BRMS-1 in cancer tissue were significantly lower than in adjacent normal tissue（P＜0.05）.There was a significant correlation between the expression of SOX4 and BRMS-1 （r＝0.57，P＜0.05）in cancer tissue and a significant negative correlation between the expression of SOX4 and CYTB in adjacent normal tissue（r＝-0.64，P＜0.05）. Conclusion　The relative expression levels of SOX4 in cancer tissue are significantly high and have a significant correlation with BRMS-1，CYTB in breast cancer.
